Is it easy to have your own business?

I don't know your reason but for me, starting a business or having one has always been my dream.  It didn't push through before but that didn't discourage me in having one again.

I have encountered and will still encounter hindrances, especially working abroad and everything, but it doesn't mean it couldn't work.  There are a lot of business or even freelance work you can start without the traditional office space you would imagine.

Earning Opportunities that Filipinos can start NOW

https://www.facebook.com/mixxandmatchesFor those of you who didn't know, I have been contemplating on having my own business for a while.  And with that I started my own Facebook Page, selling pretty much everything in MIXX AND MATCHES.

Not that I am complaining.  The business is new.  So again, sales is still unstable.

Facebook "Likes" - For Sale

I recently made a Facebook Page trying my luck in online selling.  I am a bit nervous about it cause I haven't done that before.  So far, my contacts are reliable, especially since they've done this longer than me.

Since my Facebook page is relatively new (just 2 weeks old), I need to get as many "likes" as possible to at least get it started.  I found someone who can do that in just 2 days.  Thanks to 199jobs.com.  I paid to get roughly 2,000 likes on my page.. almost instantly.

However, having many likes doesn't mean many sales.  But still, it gets my page across.

Old but new: The Concept of Dropship

A friend bought a watch online and recently received it.  I asked her how long did it take upon placing the order.  She said, about a week.  The site did explain that the regular / ordinary shipping period will take about 5-10 days.  So basically, it was right on time.

When I asked her where she bought it, she said it was thru an FB online shop.

My head is spinning right now.  I wanted so badly to have my own business that I have researched businesses that doesn't require that much capital.  An online shop really sounds good to me.  I wanted something that I can do right now, while I'm still working yet something profitable that will eventually make me work from home.

I have always wanted to have an online shop - for obvious reason - so I can work at home.  I don't need the hassle of renting a space.  Then, another concept popped out - DROPSHIP.

HOW DOES DROPSHIP WORK?

Freelancing Part I: Working from home

There are a lot of misconceptions about working from home and freelancing.  For one thing, just because you are working from home, doesn't mean you are freelancing.  Working from home could mean you are still under a company's wing, with all the perks including salary and benefits involved, but doing your work remotely.  Freelancing however, your earnings are from the clients you provided service for and you don't have a company keeping track of you.  It may seem the same, but they are ultimately different.

Saving money by using free websites

Having your website done professionally can be expensive.  I have seen several websites that offer really impressive website templates but at a ridiculously expensive cost.  I am honestly NOT surprised.  Designers have taken too much time to compose and do their magic "C++ languages" blah, blah, just to provide their clients with a really attractive websites.
